Arbor’s Uniondale office has an immediate opening for a Senior Tax Accountant to work with both our private company, Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC and our public company, Arbor Realty Trust, Inc. The responsibilities will include federal and various state tax reporting for both corporations and partnerships, tax analysis/projections for our various entities as well as real estate investment trust (REIT) tax compliance.
Candidate must have Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least 4-5 years experience in either a public or private firm.
Qualified candidates must have experience with partnership taxation, tax analysis, tax projections/forecasting as well as state level compliance. Real Estate, FAS 109 and 10Q experience/knowledge is a plus but not required. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is a must, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be hard working, a quick learner, extremely detail oriented, well organized and have the ability to work alone as well
as with others to reach a common goal.
