Peter Blass is Director at Arbor Commercial Mortgage, responsible for all facets of permanent financing (CMBS) including floating and fixed rate transactions, bridge, mezzanine, preferred equity, FHA and Fannie Mae loans. Mr. Blass arranged for over 100 million dollars in financing in 2005.

Mr. Blass has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate sales and financing. Prior to joining Arbor in 2001, he held positions as an Assistant Vice President at Apple Savings Bank, a Commercial Real Estate originator at Finova Realty Capital and a mortgage broker at Pergolis Swartz Associates.

He holds a B.A. in History from Franklin and Marshall College and an M.S. in Real Estate from New York University with a concentration in development and investment.

Patrick McGovern is a Director at Arbor Commercial Mortgage. His responsibilities include nationwide loan origination and deal management using Arbor’s complete loan product portfolio.

Mr. McGovern began his career at Arbor as a Screening Analyst in 2003.  During that time, he integrated commercial transaction analysis with future expense forecasting.  After being promoted to Senior Analyst/Underwriter in the Capital Markets group in 2005, he began underwriting conduit loans. He also maintained relationships with various CMBS lending partners and other execution alternatives.

Mr. McGovern obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Business Law from James Madison University in May 2003.

Alexander Kaushansky is a Director at Arbor Commercial Mortgage, originating Fannie Mae, CMBS and FHA transactions across the United States. Mr. Kaushansky also specializes in debt and equity financing as well as multifamily and structured financing.

Prior to joining Arbor, Mr. Kaushansky held positions at Fairmont Funding LTD, where he started as a residential underwriter, and later at Fairmont Group where he originated, underwrote and placed CMBS loans and specialized in construction financing.

Mr. Kaushansky holds a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance and Metro Development from Baruch College. Additionally, he obtained his real estate sales license and a Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Ronen Abergel joined Arbor Commercial Mortgage in April 2007 as Director.  He originates loans nationwide using Arbor’s complete product portfolio, including Fannie Mae, FHA, CMBS and Structured Finance transactions.

Mr. Abergel previously served as Vice President of Prodigious Capital Group, where he originated retail, multifamily, industrial and office deals for CMBS financing, underwrote properties and sponsorships, conducted credit analyses and coordinated the loan process. Prior to Prodigious Capital, Mr. Abergel was employed at Gramercy Property Group, where he financed deals to present to construction and mezzanine lenders, sourced and underwrote potential development deals and negotiated third-party contracts.  

Ronen received his Bachelor's degree from UCLA and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from New York University.
