Arbor’s Williamsville, NY office currently has an opening for an Insurance Specialist. The main functions of this position are as follows:
- Ensure requisite insurance coverage(s) is in an amount and form necessary to comply with loan/investor requirements as they are updated and/or amended. Includes review/interpretation of policies to determine exceptions, if any.
- Timely procure and pay insurance premiums to insure uninterrupted coverage remains in place.
- Maintain record/history notes per loan as both a means of loan data but also to demonstrate on-going compliance efforts.
- Maintain integrity of system data as it pertains to insurance updates.
- Ensure follow up for exception items within constrained times frames.
- Satisfy within specified time frames, insurance related reporting to investors in form and content requested; also provide reporting on portfolio level basis to Arbor management.
The qualified candidate must have 3-5 year’s property insurance experience. A 4-year college degree is preferred as are advanced proficiency in computer skills; Excel, Word, Access and Letter Writer are required. Strong interpersonal/negotiation skills as well as excellent organization, time management skills are a must.
