Arbor’s Williamsville office has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst. The main function of the Business Analyst role is to support on going business needs in automation, report generation, and systems support within our Servicing department. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Support daily needs of servicing division re: operations/availability of systems and trouble shoot, resolve and/or mitigate issues of periodic outages.
- Accountability for daily systems back up and recovery if/when necessary. Support MIS contingency testing process.
- Support on going efficiency initiatives of Servicing unit by identification and implementation of system processes that will advance operating division’s needs. Includes need to understand basic real estate/mortgage terms and principles to advance reporting efficiencies.
- Support company through creation/development/programming of reports that cull data from multiple systems and supports calculations, exception reporting and comparative analytics. Facilitate upload/download systems processes.
- Integrate with MIS team as needed to provide personnel contingency support.
- Primary liaison with system vendor, and investors relative to interfaces, upgrade requirements and enhancements.
The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor degree and 3-5 years experience with SQL query and Access database design. In addition, the Analyst will be responsible for all report programming necessary for periodic/ad hoc management, investor and departmental needs. Knowledge is mandatory in Crystal Report Designer and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. In addition, the ideal candidate will be expected to possess basic accounting skills and have knowledge of the mortgage industry. Some travel is required.
