Arbor’s Uniondale office has an immediate need for an Associate Multifamily Underwriter. This person must have a thorough understanding of multifamily underwriting. Fannie Mae multifamily experience is a major plus. Responsibilities include approval of final third party reports, working with underwriting management and/or SVP of Production to resolve underwriting issues, review of Arbor’s underwriting analyses prior to submission to the Chief Underwriter and/or Loan Committee.
Candidate should possess strong analytical, organizational and communication skills. 2-5 years of multifamily underwriting experience is required. Applicants must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be prepared to present recommendations to senior management and Loan Committee. National travel is required. Working knowledge of PC/desktop software (Microsoft-Excel, Word, Power Point) applications required.
